CUSTOM PACKAGING SUPPORT
Frequently Asked Questions
Clear answers to the questions buyers commonly ask before requesting custom packaging. Final specifications, minimum quantities, lead times and commercial terms are confirmed for each project.
Discuss your packaging project →Starting a project
What information should I provide for a quotation?
Please share the product being packed, target quantity, package size or capacity, preferred format, destination market and any known material, barrier, printing or filling requirements. Reference images or artwork are helpful but optional.
Can I request a quote if my specifications are incomplete?
Yes. Tell us what you already know and identify anything that is undecided. We can use the product, filling method, distribution conditions and project priorities to clarify the missing information before a specification is confirmed.
Do you work with custom sizes, structures and printing?
Projects can be evaluated around the required dimensions, package format, material structure, barrier performance, closure, finish and printed artwork. Feasibility is confirmed after the application and production requirements are reviewed.
MOQ, samples and lead time
What is the minimum order quantity?
MOQ is project-specific. It can change with the bag format, dimensions, material structure, printing process, number of designs and production method. Include your target quantity in the inquiry and we will confirm the applicable MOQ with the quotation.
Can I request samples before production?
Sample options depend on what needs to be verified. Existing samples may help assess format and material, while a custom prototype or printed sample may be needed for dimensions, filling, sealing or artwork approval. Availability, cost and timing are confirmed for the project.
How long does production take?
Lead time depends on the specification, material availability, printing, quantity, sample or proof requirements and production schedule. The confirmed schedule normally begins after the required commercial terms, specifications and artwork approvals are complete.
Materials and performance
How do I choose the right packaging material?
The suitable structure depends on the packed product, target shelf life, oxygen and moisture sensitivity, light or aroma protection, puncture resistance, filling temperature, sealing equipment, storage and distribution conditions. Share these details so the structure can be evaluated around the application.
Can you help with oxygen, moisture or light barriers?
Barrier requirements can be reviewed as part of the specification. If you do not have a target structure, describe the product, expected shelf life and distribution environment. Any final performance requirement should be confirmed in the written specification and validated where appropriate.
How can I check whether a package works with my filling line?
Please provide the filling method, sealing conditions, equipment information and a current package sample if available. Trial filling and sealing may be recommended before mass production, especially when dimensions, fit or process conditions are critical.
Artwork and printing
What artwork files should I send?
An editable vector file or print-ready PDF is normally the best starting point. Please include linked images, fonts or outlined text, color references, dimensions and the correct dieline where available. We will identify any missing production information during artwork review.
Can you help if my artwork is not finished?
You may submit a reference image, existing label or draft layout with the inquiry. We can review what is available and explain what must be completed or adjusted before proofing and production.
Will the printed color exactly match my screen?
Screens, substrates, inks, finishes and printing processes reproduce color differently. Important colors should be identified with agreed references, and the appropriate proof or sample process should be confirmed before production.
Quotation, shipping and quality
What is included in a quotation?
The quotation is prepared from the confirmed scope and may include the packaging specification, quantity, unit price, tooling or setup charges, sample terms, payment terms, estimated schedule and agreed delivery basis. Freight, duties and taxes should be checked against the written quotation.
Can orders be shipped internationally?
Destination country, delivery address, shipment quantity and the required trade terms are needed to evaluate delivery. Available transport options and responsibilities are confirmed in the quotation or order documents.
What should I do if I find a quality issue?
Keep the affected goods and packaging, then contact us promptly with photographs, quantities, batch or carton details and a clear description of the issue. The information will be reviewed against the approved specification and order records before the appropriate next step is confirmed.
